Academic Majors
It is the goal of the Undergraduate Department of Business Administration to provide academic excellence for our students who are majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Management, Management Information Systems, and Marketing. This is done through our dedicated Christian faculty who are committed to developing Christian business men and women who desire to go into every person’s world with a Christian influence. Our students have won national awards in accounting, marketing, and small business research. The business environment in Tulsa provides an excellent opportunity for our students to work in internships where they are receiving professional experience and also receiving academic credit toward graduation. All of our students receive academic knowledge which is thoroughly integrated with applied Christian ethics.
Eight outstanding degree programs are available at the ORU School of Business. Each is designed to prepare students as leaders for society.
All business majors must complete the general education requirements as listed in the university catalog.

Academic Minors
A minor from the Business Administration department is complimentary to any major. Understanding the basic business paradigm is essential in many occupations as well as in many avocations. Students in government, nursing, engineering, music and theology are a few examples of the many that choose to expand their education with a minor in business.
Skills learned in the minor may be helpful in managing a home or working at a church. The minor also enhances a volunteer’s effectiveness. Three minors are offered by the department:
